Trump has pledged to restore American jobs, and he repeated that goal last week during the Republican National Convention, when he said, “I’m going to bring our jobs back to Ohio and Pennsylvania and New York and Michigan and all of America.” Still, instead of seeking Americans to work those jobs, he is seeking out foreign workers for the positions.

It never ends. Trump manufacturers in China, Mexico, Bangladesh, etc. and hires foreign workers in the U.S.

You guys on the left really need to make up your mind..

Is Trump just putting his name on thousands of things he doesnt own, and collecting dividends, or is he really managing all of those successful businesses and thus responsible for day to day operations..

He's a very busy man..

In this case he owns it. And this if not the first year he has done it. That's has well been reported and he has been asked about it by reporters. As CEO he could easily prohibit the manager of Mar-A-Labor from doing it.

You gotta admit that it looks very hypocritical. There are American workers that can fill these jobs but his business or company that he is affiliated with is seeking out foreign labor? You can't have it both ways.

The Mar-A-Lago one-time membership fee is $100,000 and members pay $14,000/year and must buy $2,000/year of food.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/inside-dona...ry?id=37307428

The jobs Trump is seeking to fill pay between $10.17 and $12.74 per hour.

Looks like the greedy ******* could afford to pay enough to attract Americans to the jobs if he wanted to. Instead he pays about as much as the average Best Western.

Because he's busy colluding with Putin.

Trump has some serious man love for a guy who like to pose half-naked.

Trump is cheap to the point of hostile. Look at all those small contractors he didn't pay and put out of business. Look at what he did to those worshipful little dancing girls.

The creator of the viral pro-Trump act ‘USA Freedom Kids’ now plans to sue the campaign

His understanding from the campaign was that the Kids would make two appearances in Florida, where Popick lives. The first event didn't come to fruition, and Popick says he asked for $2,500 in payment for the second performance, in Pensacola. The campaign made a counter-offer: How about a table where the group could presell albums? Popick took the deal.

When they arrived at the venue, though, there was no table
, Popick says. The result was "complete chaos," he said. "They clearly had made no provisions for that."

The campaign balked at $2500.?! Trump is a billionaire and they won't pay what they agreed to?

When Trump made the sudden decision to skip the January Fox News debate and instead hold an event for veterans, a representative of the campaign called Popick to see if the Freedom Kids might perform. The call came the day before the event, Popick says, which was being held in Des Moines at 6:30 p.m. With the promise that the exposure from the event would be "huge," Popick readily agreed, and the kids and their parents packed up for a direct flight to Chicago and a long drive to Iowa.

The cost of the flights, rental car and hotel were all absorbed by Popick.

Trump is so petty that even something like this he doesn't pay? How can you be surprised that he would go to the trouble of applying for 78 foreign worker visas to avoid hiring U.S. workers?

What a stupid strawman.

No CEO manages "day to day operations," but they are still responsible for what goes on in their enterprises. They put their name and reputation on the business. They represent the business and what it does. They drive the policies the guide the business operations. They ultimately hire and fire the people. And they set the tone for the culture.

The fact that you're willing to look the other way while Trump opportunistically profits - as he has for decades - from EXACTLY what he now claims he's against shows just now blind you are.

If Trump wasn't a fraud, he would have already stopped manufacturing overseas, stopped hiring foreigners a long time ago, and fined HIMSELF for the profits he made doing that which he wants to fine others for.

The guy has spent decades ripping people off and profiting from every loophole he could find, and how he's the champion of the working everyman? Give me a break. What nonsense.

There may be workers that can fill those jobs but .... 1)they themselves may be unemployed due to seasonal work and are waiting to be called back and are fine with unemployment for now, 2)they are receiving more from unemployment than it's worth to get a job with Trump, or 3) they're unemployed but with all the freebies like food stamps, free healthcare and welfare - it's just not worth it to work.

If he paid them enough it would be worth it. You can't have it both ways. Either pay a living wage or be prepared to support people.

Regarding immigration, a lot of people, especially on the left, have been saying immigrants have been taking jobs that americans don't want to do. A lot of people on the right have been saying that is B.S. and that they are driving wages lower.

Now I see a lot people on the right are defending Trump for using immigrants because there were no americans that wanted the jobs.

I am sure now they will say "well they are here legally" Of course, they probably won't cite that 40 percent of illegals start out here legally (over stays). Because that would belie the need for the southern wall.
