Donald Trump in a self-proclaimed billionaire who owns a private establishment where members pay $100,000 to join and $16,000/year to maintain their membership.
But he pays his help about the same as a Best Western or Holiday Inn. Because he pays such low wages, he's "forced" to go outside the country and hire employees because Americans won't work for him.
All while claiming he'll bring jobs back to America.

Is Trump just putting his name on thousands of things he doesnt own, and collecting dividends, or is he really managing all of those successful businesses and thus responsible for day to day operations..

You may have a case that Palm Beach is also sparsely population if it isn't just a stone throw away from Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and other cities!

Some information:
Palm Beach County has 1.35 million people. (It has the towns of Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, etc.)
In bordering Broward County there are 1.85 million people (in Broward are Fort Lauderdale, Lauderhill, Pompano and Hollywood).
In other words, within 35 miles of Donald's business there are 2.2 million people.
However it must be noted that a lot of those folks are retirees and children under 18. I do not know the actually number of adults 18 and over who are actually looking for work.
There may be workers that can fill those jobs but .... 1)they themselves may be unemployed due to seasonal work and are waiting to be called back and are fine with unemployment for now, 2)they are receiving more from unemployment than it's worth to get a job with Trump, or 3) they're unemployed but with all the freebies like food stamps, free healthcare and welfare - it's just not worth it to work.

Trump has addressed this before. Due to the multitude of snow birds that descend on Florida, there are not enough service people for the hotels, etc. I don't see this as an issue, it is temporary employment and it is legal.
Trump explained that he is a dictator. We should never question him. There can be no differing of opinion. We must treat great leader like his colleague Putin. Only he can solve every problem known to man. You must not ever question the great leader. We admire North Korea and Russia for their blind patriotism.
You gotta admit that it looks very hypocritical. There are American workers that can fill these jobs but his business or company that he is affiliated with is seeking out foreign labor? You can't have it both ways.
of course it does, but if trumps following the law, then wouldnt he be in a far better position to know whats wrong with the law in order to change it?

What the TDS sufferers don't get, despite it being explained more than once in this thread, is that those jobs are seasonal. Most Americans are looking for year round work.
That one employment agency that a poster keeps bringing up --- are all those Americans looking for work willing to take a seasonal job? Or do they prefer year round work? Americans will take jobs like those Trump has on offer if they are year round work. Not many people who live in this country have the luxury of only doing seasonal work. They need full-time work to survive. Why is that so hard for some of you to understand?
No CEO manages "day to day operations," but they are still responsible for what goes on in their enterprises. They put their name and reputation on the business. They represent the business and what it does. They drive the policies the guide the business operations. They ultimately hire and fire the people. And they set the tone for the culture.
The fact that you're willing to look the other way while Trump opportunistically profits - as he has for decades - from EXACTLY what he now claims he's against shows just now blind you are.
If Trump wasn't a fraud, he would have already stopped manufacturing overseas, stopped hiring foreigners a long time ago, and fined HIMSELF for the profits he made doing that which he wants to fine others for.
The guy has spent decades ripping people off and profiting from every loophole he could find, and how he's the champion of the working everyman? Give me a break. What nonsense.
no no no no no.. you guys ran around claiming the Clintons arent responsible for the things the state department was doing etc..
I have NO PROBLEM with Trump FOLLOWING THE LAW and hiring foreigners, or producing things overseas in order to earn a profit.
Especially when pointed out from people who support a LAW BREAKER for President, or at least someone with questionable ethics or attacking people who FOLLOW THE LAW..
