That is such BS. Doesn't he blame DACA for taking away jobs.

Note- comparing it with Obama means nothing...you must remember that most sane Americans are FOR both guest workers and paths to citizenship for immigrants.

We are simply pointing out the hypocrisy of Trump and Trumpies and the additional lies about "Americans will do those jobs", etc. etc.

Get it?

I really doubt they can do extreme vetting for 10's of thousands of potential terrorists in a week or two. But, hey, they are white - right?
its not the government that is doing the vetting, its the companies that help american resorts hire foreign workers, and there are plenty of these companies around. but you seem to think that somehow if one person makes an application that it overloads the system. truth is it doesnt. 15,000 more people? not a problem.

keep with what was actually please. all new workers at any job have to be trained. but american companies generally want workers that are going to stay long term after being trained, not leave after a few months to go back to a summer job. had you actually bothered to read what i wrote you would have understood that.

but again the difference here is that these companies use LEGAL immigrants to d othe jobs, not ILLEGAL immigrants.
The HB2 visas are good for 3 years and renewable. What becomes of a seasonal worker once the season is over?

The Hb2 visa holder is allowed to bring their spouse and minor children who attend US public schools. The children may become eligible for healthcare, SNAP benefits and free school meals. Nothing precludes an h2b visa holder from engaging in activity that results in an anchor baby.

The sponsoring employer is required to demonstrate it made a reasonable effort to recruit in the US. A small ad in the back of a local paper suffices.

Given Trump's position, it looks seriously hypocritical of him to make use of seasonal worker visas. The greater Palm Beach area is full of posh resorts. Trump can pay more and poach from the competition.
He can bus workers in from adjoining counties. That's certainly cheaper than bringing someone in from overseas of Mexico.

It's not too much to expect Trump to walk his talk.

HB2 visas are abused and this is why unions are against them.

That's very true. There are headhunter agencies that can fill any position with vetted trained applicants. Some of the properties in Arizona use an agency that specializes in Russian hospitality workers. The workers would teach me basic russian when on breaks(Dasvidaniya ). they were there during the busy season and were gone when it was over. Next year a new crop. They all showed up in a bus every morning.

the foreign workers usually go to another seasonal position. sometimes within the company they were working for, sometimes not.

other foreign workers go home when the season is over, and come back when its time to get ready for the next season.

one more thing, foreign guest workers may be allowed to bring immediate family to this country, but most seasonal jobs are ones where you also live on the property where you work, and you cant bring family there unless they also work for the company. the grand canyon south rim was the only place i know of that had family apartments where those with families could bring their children and spouses. and that was only because they were open year around.

???

It appears you know nothing about the area. There are plenty of people, too many actually, that are available to do the job.

But these are seasonal and temporary jobs. Most want permanent jobs.
