Why? Because when other people do not stand up to injustice.....black people do and therefore justice comes to others, eventually, because black people stood up.

In your occupation, do you ever have occasion to take down people with weapons who may be willing to kill you? If not, then you can opine on whether or not the shooting was legally justified, but you are not qualified to question the bravery of law enforcement officers as a group.

As she should, I mean she is their beacon of light at 3.125% Native American. Hell, she probably runs a casino as well.

Used to know a guy who ran a Brazilian jiu jitsu school. He helped train cops against knife attacks. They can never get their gun out in time with in 15 feet. He said one cop was practically in tears trying to disarm knife attacks. Close quarters, a knife beats a gun.

These were scissors. I doubt they would even go through the body armor the officer is wearing.. a knife is definitely a different scenario though.

They'll go through an eyeball quite easily, however.

A person with a knife or other sharp object at that close of a distance will almost always beat you to the punch if you're trying to shoot to defend your life. Did you see how the officer purposely pushed her away and increased the distance as soon as he saw she had a weapon while trying to detain her? He followed his training which is to put distance between you and the subject as quickly as possible. That gave him enough time to draw his weapon even as he continued to back up.
