Great. Just great. They've spread to Europe now.

Better there than here. It proves that ignorance and bigotry isn't just an American issue.

In this country congress should make it a federal felony to disrupt travel on an interstate highway for a temper tantrum.

The movement was spawned because of police shootings of unarmed Blacks.
Do they have that problem in England?

I have no idea. It is posted here which gets the problem a wider exposure. No?

Seems they do believe they have at least similar kinds of problems with racism. Despite the above attempt the BLM isn't just about shootings. Those issues do get the most attention though.

In England?

Um, are you aware that the police there have had trouble recently for going easy on minority groups and thus were essentially looking the other way with regards to a child sex ring in the muslim community?

If anything, the police there don't seem to be deserving of such protest.

Imagine if I had a protest that made you late for work over Greek spending policies. Would you be engaged and interested or the opposite and be thinking "why the heck are you protesting here"?

Annoying and disrupting people that aren't involved is one of the worst ways to build support.

Here in Toronto, the local BLM group has been using the EXCAT same tactics to **** off the public.

Road and street blockades, sit ins at the University President's office, a protest in front of the Provincial leaders' personal home at 5 am. Insulting and racial statements. One example.... A white guy who wanted to buy one of their T shirts, was told that he couldn't because he is white, therefore he can't understand what it means to be black in Canada.

They have quickly lost any small amount of support that they might have had here.

"The protest marks the fifth anniversary of the death of Mark Duggan, a 29-year-old who was shot dead by police in Tottenham."
