Lots of people left, right, and centre are skeptical of anything Wikileaks puts out and of any statements made by the confined Assange. The walls are closing in on him. He can feel it. So he's now, illogically, compromising the reputation of Wikileaks by spreading stories to imply he knows the identity of his sources... Totally in conflict with past statements. He's on his own. He's a desperate man. He's busy sabotaging and discrediting himself in his self-contradictions. He's a lone paranoid ranter.

Snopes gets their "proof" from what they can find on Google...just like you. They have also been proven NOT to be trained "fact checkers", and they absolutely lean left no matter how many times libs pretend they are neutral. Snopes is no longer considered a legit source for proof of anything. You may as well use wikipedia.
