Jon Ritzheimer, the former Marine who selfied a tearful farewell before joining the Bundys & others at the Mahleur National Wildlife Refuge earlier this year, will plead guilty next Monday in Federal court to conspiracy.
Speaking of the Bundys, in true SovCit fashion Ryan Bundy is attempting to represent himself in court and has recently filed several notices, including one in which he declares himself an 'idiot' and 'incompetent'.

This bunch of derelicts was just like a pack of dogs, on the loose and out for a good time.
It was all fun and games until they were rounded up and started getting a cone of shame strapped on their heads.
Most of the ones who never were present in the Nevada standoff of 2014 won't get more than a couple of years in prison. Some may even get probation if they can prove they weren't ever armed, like Blaine Cooper.
But every single one of them will be convicted of a felony and will have all their guns taken away for good. All of a sudden, losing their guns seems to be a better trade-off than spending a decade behind bars.
Those who have conspiracy charges of armed insurrection will definitely get slammed a lot harder. That will include most of the show-off who were present at both events.
And the state of Nevada has its own set of charges to prosecute on the same guys. Their state Attorney General has been in negotiations with the federal prosecutors ever since the arrests began, and if Ritzhiemer gets off light on the federal charges, you can be sure Nevada fully intends to put him in prison for the state charges he has against him.
For Ritzhiemer, his last forlorn hope is a Nevada jury may have some sympathetic members in it.
For sure, the jury selection will be very strenuous for everyone selected from the jury pool, and the trials just as strenuous. It will be a lot easier for the potential jurors who have sympathy for the Bundys to just admit it and be dismissed with no harm, no foul.
At present, I've read nothing about what the state of Oregon intends to do, but I'm sure there's a good possibility they will levy their own charges against some or all of the bunch who were arrested there.
And, as they cave in one by one, it's inevitable new arrests will follow eventually. The longer all the proceedings take, the more it will give all the hot-heads and threepers time to re-evaulate their emotional causes. Especially when they realize the FBI is keeping an eye on them for many years to come.

Thanks Mike. Do you know what's going on with Ryan Payne? He was Cliven Bundy's 'body guard' from way back, right? Also the guy who jumped out of the vehicle at the end of the 'standoff'. He seems to have marketed himself as not only Cliven's consigliere but as a 'freedom fighter' as well:

Has this guy, or any of them, considered taking the insanity or mental disorder defense? At least they & more importantly, their families, could get the mental health assistance they most definitely need. & it might help to break the cycle.

Federal prosecutors describe DeLemus, who has been in custody for more than five months, as a “gunman and midlevel organizer” in the Bundy family-led scheme to assault law enforcement officers who had rounded up Bundy cattle.
Where are all the Bundy defenders? Sad, very sad - to think that they would only be fairweather friends.
