If memory serves, that bill was talked to death. If memory serves a big hang up was the path to citizenship and delaying making E-verify the law of the land until after the path to citizenship was approved. If memory serves another sticking point was the complete lack of accountability for those here who have violated employment laws and committed tax fraud. This bill was talked to death with neither side budging. That is if this is the bill the so-called gang of 8 came up with. If so than it was stuffed with pork spending and the majority of the bill did nothing to address actual immigration reform. It was a thinly disguised amnesty plan.

It was for 670 miles, and it was already built.
Quite obviously it did not fix the problem, since the argument is that the border is wide open.
They are being devestated by crime and problems, but at least in one border town they are not waiting for the 2016 race to make the choice to take their own actions.
Wall should be 30-40 feet tall and at least 3 feet thick.
