I was just thinking today that no matter who wins this next election, a Trump or Hillary Presidency is going to make us all miss Obama. People are going to realize that Obama wasn't the America-hating leftist that the right tried to paint him as the past four years. Obama will go down as a great President and will be the Democrats' Reagan; the standard by which Democratic candidates will be compared to in decades to come.
It's no surprise Obama's approval ratings are rising. The prospect of Trump or Hillary makes Obama shine in comparison.
Obama will get good grades from the presidential historians.

This is true. Hillary wins this, only because Trump is worse. I'm voting Gary Johnson simply because my own ethics won't let me vote for one of the two major parties this year.
Obama will go down with the greats like Kennedy, FDR, Lincoln, etc.
Hillary will leave office in disgrace and will likely go down in history with Nixon and Buchannan.

I never thought another president would make Jimmy Carter look good......then Obama came along.Sadly I think think your premise may be correct......I think Hillary Clinton will make Obama look good in retrospect,even to someone like me.While I think Obama has been a terrible president,I do think he meant well and is a decent human being.I have nothing positive to say about Hillary Clinton and I highly doubt my opinion of her will improve with her in the whitehouse.
