What? The minimum wage is $15/hour now. Is that a slave wage now too?

For starters, the thread is based on not reading the article because the minimum wage is not yet in place (it will take until 2021 to be phased in) and is not the cause of erratic schedules as suggested by the OP.

But the impact so far for what little has happened has been minimal.

"...so far, critics’ dire predictions of mass job loss have not come true."

Where did I make any assertion that the article says that?

No it's not. It's not fully phased in for another five years. It didn't cause erratic schedules and it's not even in place yet. Really, you should read the articles before creating threads posting your outrage.

The title of the thread says it! Provide proof that the minimum wage which isn't even phased in until 2021 has impacted work schedules! The article says this is being addressed across the country, did you even read the article you posted?!

You're correct, it's at $13/$12.50/$12 an hour. The law is still causing erratic scheduling. That's my opinion. You can have yours. I can see that you really enjoy moving goalposts around and jumping ahead to prove someone wrong. I said the law causes erratic scheduling and NEVER said the article said that, you come in and say "it's no where in that article so you're wrong." It shows you aren't paying attention.

I never said that was a direct quote from the article.

Ah yes, the SJW cry "slave wages" another empty term like "living wage". Guess what, not every job is WORTH a "living wage", especially in one of the most expensive cities in the country. On top of that not every person has the skills or worth ethic to be paid more than a minimum wage. Waving your magic leftist wand and passing an edict that business must pay more doesn't make the jobs worth more.

Nope that seems fine to me. But it was raised by government because companies weren't willingly doing it.

Do you live in Seattle? Please prove the $15. minimum wage - that is not yet in effect - is causing erratic scheduling.

And this proposal would not impact small businesses:

Seattle’s “secure scheduling” proposal also would require retail and fast-food companies with 500 employees globally to compensate workers with “predictability pay” when they’re scheduled...

In 2014, San Francisco became the first major U.S. city to pass similar legislation.

Across the country, companies have faced increasing pressure to make schedules more predictable. Last month, Wal-Mart launched a new scheduling system to give thousands of hourly employees more certainty about their hours.

Did the rest of the country pass a $15. minimum wage too?

Then can you prove there is any connection or did you just make it up? It looks like you took an article about erratic scheduling and tried to make it about the minimum wage. If not, please prove one has anything to do with the other.
