Lots of people saw this coming. For every action, there's a reaction. Businesses won't just sit down and accept that their cost of doing business is rising and lose profits. This goes for artificially increasing wages, higher tariffs on imported products, additional regulations, etc.
I definitely don't want to encourage any more to move to Seattle, we are full, but you are complaining about what exactly?

Across the country, companies have faced increasing pressure to make schedules more predictable. Last month, Wal-Mart launched a new scheduling system to give thousands of hourly employees more certainty about their hours.
This has nothing really to do with the $15. minimum wage which is not yet in place and will take years to be so. Maybe some people just need a reason to be outraged.
Show me the quote where it says Seattles minimum wage causes erratic scheduling. Anyone with basic knowledge of the economy knows that this isn't unique to Seattle.

Exactly. Completely manufactured outrage over something happening across the country and has nothing to do with any minimum wage.
Stop paying slave wages. Problem fixed! Fix it before government needs to step in!
If you owned a competitive business, why would you hire someone and pay them more than they produce for you? A business is about offering services or products to people in order to make money and stay competitive.
Hiring employees is about finding people to help you with the workload. If their specific job only makes the company $10/hr, why should you pay $15/hr and take a loss? You aren't hiring people to be a charity.
I'm not saying you can't do it, but it's definitely costing the business, which means less growth, less jobs, competitors beating you out, etc.
