Debbie Wasserman Schultz Wins Congressional Primary in Florida, According to A.P. - The New York Times

How on earth could the democratic opponent in the primary not win against debbie? Debbie was booed off the stage at the DNC and directed to not speak because of her email scandal inflaming those with ethics.

Are there that many corrupt voters who just pull the lever as directed? Don't democratic voters care about any ethics or moral compass?

Move to her district and vote against her.

When you are brought up to Vote D, you end up with Wassermans. No need to go past the letter D in education for most Democratic party voters.
They just don't care about accountability, responsibility.
They just want their welfare state to not be touched. Pubs threaten that

Uhhh....primaries are to select the Democratic and Republican candidates for the general election. The voters in this primary had a choice between Debbie and https://timcanova.com/meet-tim (also part Jewish New Yorker, since that seems to matter to some) not between a "corrupt" Democrat and a "corrupt" Republican.

Because a convention is a meeting of party activists. And party activists are not typical of most registered voters. This is true of both the Ds and Rs, simply because they're so large.

I don't have a sense of whether this is also true of "third" parties, but I suspect it is.

You answered your own question.
Debbie won because her district must not have many Bernie supporters who are holding a grudge. She was popular in her district before she became the DNC Chair, and it looks like that hasn't changed.

If party internal division is a corruption, then what do you say about the Republicans? They have been fighting over exactly the same stuff for 10 years now, with no end in sight. Mostly using email as a weapon of choice.

Sanders himself never said his challenge was personal. He wanted the Democratic party to adopt his agenda, and it did, as a compromise to keep his supporters in the Democratic ship. The compromise worked, because no one wanted a mutiny.

It's a lesson the Republican party should have learned 4 years ago, before a brigand boarded their ship and seized the wheel.

Just take one look at this ugly, poodle headed, hyphenated name crook. I can see what she's all about yet still they vote for her.
Oh yeah? What is she about?

Why is this a discussion of D vs R?

The question is why people chose Wasserman(D) over Canova(D), considering Wasserman was essentially disgraced as more corrupt than your average politician.
