Oh whoopti-doo!! A college course that answers everything about progressives!! Do tell!!

Hillary said "I’m a progressive, but I’m a progressive that likes to get things done". But since her entire history without exception is one of promoting capitalism, protecting capitalism, and legislating for capitalism, she is not a "Marxist/socialist". So there is one example of your error, Hillsdale graduate. Or maybe you would say she is not a progressive.
Really? Hillary "promotes" capitalism? LOL!!! That's rich!

You really don't have a clue, do you. Hillary is a Marxist/socialist. It doesn't matter what you say. But, go ahead and believe whatever you want.

And, by the way, that course did cover the Progressive movement, because it was important to learning the history of the Constitution and how it is viewed by "progressives." It was Woodrow Wilson, for example, that coined the phrase, "living document," because he didn't believe in the immutability of the meaning of the Constitution. But nowhere in any founding documents can you find any such statements by the framers to the effect that the Constitution was not written for all time, that its interpretation was subject to change with the times.

Hillary Clinton knows full well what she is. In 2012, she happily received the Woodrow Wilson Award from the Woodrow Wilson Center.

Here is an article by Ronald J. Pestritto* on Woodrow Wilson, and the Progressive Movement in the United States. I suggest you read it to find out what progressivism is all about:

Woodrow Wilson: Godfather of Liberalism
"[Johns] Hopkins had just been founded in 1876 for the express purpose of bringing German education and principles to the United States. In the decades before its founding, most Americans who wanted an advanced degree were going to Europe—and especially to Germany—to get it. Johns Hopkins quickly became influential in American higher education. It also became one of the ways in which the new German science of politics was imported into American politics with profound effect, and Wilson was among the most important figures in this movement."
*Ronald J. Pestritto is among the professors that teach the Constitution course at Hillsdale College.

Trump is entirely correct when he speaks about Muslims, and most Americans agree with him. What specifically do you think he has wrong about Islam and Muslims?

What "crimes of the government" created the situation with illegal "immigrants?" If someone enters legally they aren't "illegal!" Duh! And there is no problem with that, unless they have overstayed a Visa.

We do need a wall, because simply enforcing the laws (which is hard to do with thousands crossing the border illegally), isn't enough. They climb over, tunnel under and cut holes in the fence. I used to live in San Diego. Believe me, it's a problem.

As for Trump and the handicapped reporter, Trump didn't know the guy from Adam. He didn't know he was handicapped. Trump doesn't know every reporter out there!

Wait, you said it: "they climb over, tunnel under..."
How is a very high wall going to help if they tunnel under? The tunnel is the same tunnel under 10 foot wall and under 1000 feet high wall.
And let me add that even with land borders blocked, they can easily come by boats on the water. We have thousands miles of shores.
Isn't eliminating the resons they arrive here easier? Like not offering them employment and social help? If they have no reason being here they'll leave by themselves. Wall or no wall.
Just for clarification: the fact is that many republican employers support this immigration, as they like cheap labor. They encouraged it and support it, though very few will admit it. It's not only a democrat party creation, but an unholy alliance.

Ever heard of tunnel sensors? Evidently we are already doing a pretty good job of guarding our ports and shores because you don't hear of many illegals aliens entering that way. It is overwhelmingly thru our southern border.

It's not just migrants looking for work and benefits coming here. Criminals and terrorists are getting thru our southern border also, thus the wall. They aren't looking for work.

Both the Democrats and the Republicans in congress like the cheap labor and also out in the real world. Corporations are in the back pockets of both parties. The Democrats also have another motive though and that is to fill this country up with more Democrat voters and to pander to ethnocentric Hispanic citizens who demands amnesty for their votes.

It doesn't matter what you say. But, go ahead and believe whatever you want. But here is a few things she did, from Hillary Clinton's Accomplishments Speak for Themselves | US News Opinion ....

"Although her major initiative, the Clinton health care plan failed, it certainly set the groundwork for the health care law we have today, the Affordable Care Act."

And the ACA has been a huge boon to insurance companies but has not been so great for the working class.

"She was instrumental in securing $21 billion in funding for the World Trade Center site's redevelopment."

The World Trade Center is not dedicated to the working class.

She strongly advocated for the TPP until she was embarrassed into a flip-flop recently, and we don't know how long that will last. Some insiders are saying to expect her to reverse again on it.

No Marxist would do these things. So now it's up to you to post evidence to the contrary and prove she's a Marxist. Good luck with that!

He thinks they are more likely terrorists. He forgot about Timothy McVeigh.

You really have no clue, do you? I mean, you're not just pulling my leg. You really don't know! LOL!! If laws are not enforced, that, by definition, is "breaking the law" as an accomplice to the crime of being here illegally. I know you can't follow that. You went to a christian "college" after all.

And you believe that. So a christian college doesn't teach critical thinking it seems. LOL!

The thread is about periodic frenzy over immigrants, legal and illegal. But my suggestion is to deprive them of jobs and of rental of apartments and homes. Why would they come then?

I'm not aware of personal fantasies. I don't read minds.

Hey nonsenseguy, you said I'm not aware of this. How about you tell me about America all of a sudden wanting people from all over to get here. Be sure to back it up with reliable links.
