See the table and sequence the "Damage" column from high to low, and you will find a higher concentration of recent years associated with the highest costs.

I think mother nature is tired of us and fighting back. Storms are more frequent with more intensity. Fires are out of control. Floods where there haven't been floods in the past are now wrecking havoc. Men don't deserve this earth because most don't care about preserving it. They instead ridicule those who do. Just my opinion but take care of your home.

15,000 years ago when we came out o the last ice age, the earth warmed much faster in ten years than is has in the last 200 years.
Let us just assume, for the purpose of debate, the Goreists are right.
We just agreed to cut emissions 26% by 2030 in exchange China stops increasing emissions in that year.
What this does is increase the shipping of jobs to China, a nation under no current restriction on CO2 emissions.
That will not do one damn thing to reduce CO2 emissions.
If the Goreists are right history will look down on the groups and individuals who used global warming to advance their agenda, an agenda that does not include reducing global warming, more than they will the deniers
