Basically other than Islam, how much religious freedom do you have in oil-rich Arabic countries?

All Infidels are second class citizens by law.

Apostasy from Islam is punishable by death.

The death cult has all bases covered.

So how are second class citizens in those countries get treated?
Are there some specific discriminations?

Blasphemy laws only protect Islam.

If an Infidel falls in love with a Muslim, the Infidel has to change to Islam.

Blood money (diyya) for an Infidel is lower to that of a Muslim.

Infidels are by law banned from positions of power.

Infidels can't criticize anything about their country on social issues, because it can be seen as an attack on Islam.

Inheritance laws favor Muslims.

4 Christian boys in Egypt were sentenced to 5 years in prison for supposedly "defaming" islam. They all fled and were granted asylum in Switzerland.

Coptic Teenagers, Sentenced to Prison in Egypt for

Saudi Arabia just sentenced a man to 10 years in prison and 2,000 lashes. His crime? Claiming to be an atheist on twitter.

27 Lebanese Christians were arrested then deported from Saudi Arabia because they had bibles in their homes.

Each State has one common theme: You are only as free as much as it doesn't interfere with our nefarious activities.

How that translates into policy isn't all that important IMO.

Which goes to show: It's never the individual Muslim that is the problem. Individual Muslims, like an individual Mormon, an individual Republican, etc. can be wonderful people. They are your doctors. Shop keepers. Neighbor. But with a certain ideology or prevailing religion (or no religion) comes a certain society and culture.

And I think it is the society that inevitably develops once Islam becomes the prevailing religious/political ideology that is the problem. "Islamophobia" is about eventual outcomes. And honestly, secular and progressive people SHOULD be wary of it.

Never, ever forget the lesson of Lebanon. When the demographics flipped from majority Christian to majority Muslim.... well..... we all know what happened then, don't we? Same people. Same race. Same ethnicity. Different political/religious ideology influencing government and policy and cultural norms. The Paris of the Middle East quickly turned into the Baghdad of the Middle East.

Lebanon is unique.

It remains about 40% Christian.

5% identify as Druze and not Muslim.

The Muslim population is split , Sunni vs Shiite and do not consider the other true Muslim

What is an Arabic country?

Language?
Ancestry?
Religion?
Culture?

Are all " oil rich" countries in the Middle East, Arabic?
Are all Arabic countries in the Middle East?

Does Sharia mean the same set of laws and consequences throughout the Middle East?

The two major powers in the Middle East are Saudi Arabia and Iran.
They have different languages, ancestry, religion ( including law) and culture.

It's really just an issue of secularism though.

I have no problem with Christians, as an example, but when insane conservative Christians want to tell us what America is really about, I tell them, quite politely, to **** off. Because their opinions are garbage when it comes to policy.

Same with Islam. The trick is, I don't so much care what they believe in their personal life. If they want to discuss, I will be honest about my thought on it, but aside from that, I don't care. Nor do I think they shouldn't be allowed to think those things because it's their life. It's when they try to make it mine that I have a problem.
