I wonder if HE is going to try to sue for some type of profiling/discrimination action against the airline.

Well, he got booked into the same jail where, within the last week, they dumped a quadrapalegic from his wheel chair and broke a woman's arm who didn't appear to be causing any violence. If he sues, it won't be the airline! They'll give him something to sue over.

I think they look for "normal"-looking people.....you know, just "regular" folks...It's kind of hard to explain...

If a person has a pistol permit its a real safe bet theyre responsible citizens. I think its retarted the direction we went after 9/11. They perpetrated that attack with box cutters. If only there had been some good people on those planes with weapons the world would be a different place today.

Many people have mentioned this---but you must realize, nobody at the time "Knew" exactly what lay in store for them all...and most of us have a SERIOUSLY strong fear of any "cutting" attacks--- a knife or a straight razor can be pretty intimidating, particularly near the neck or face. It's like facing a crazed attack dog...the thing may weigh only 80 pounds, but try 'taking it on' with your bare hands..most of us just couldn't. I'm sure not going to judge the victims for hesitating.

By the time they realized the gravity of their situation, I'm sure it was too late to 'overtake' the terrorists.
