I'm not surprised pharm companies are fighting legalization of it. But that does nothing to change my opinion that mj is bad for people.
It's very apparent as to what it means. If that can't break through closed thought maybe looking into research backed by peer review... more that marijuana actually benefits people.

Thanks to the DEA, there is no Doctor in Arizona that will even THINK of prescribing Vicodin for my chronic pain. NONE! They are so afraid of getting their medical license pulled because of the gestapo like tactics. I can go buy a bag of pot for $20 on any street corner. Where did they think all these people who need pain meds to live are going to do when no Doctors are not even allowed to give it out?

The money would have better been spent telling the DEA to back the F off
Same thing in my fathers case. Degenerative spine, bad knees, bad hip and is overweight and doctors won't give him ANY pain meds because he might get addicted.....its stupid. I was on loritab for 2 years during my back issues and got off just fine when I was all fixed up.

The system is so abused that people that really need pain medication do not have access to it because of all the addicts. The DEA thinks they are doing good, but in reality they are going to block people access to their medication. Addicts will still be addicts and their tactics won't change that.

....and that's why Kratom was quickly rising in popularity among chronic pain sufferers. The chronic pain FB groups are full of them. The DEA felt so threatened by these people seeking relief outside their purview, they're enacting an emergency ban against this relatively harmless plant.

Won't somebody disband the Drug Enforecement Agency already...

Forbes Welcome

The three groups that provide most of the funding, lobbying and campaign support against marijuana legalization for both medical and recreational use are:

Pharmaceutical companies
Alcohol producers and distributors
Law enforcement

All three groups have one thing in common, keeping marijuana illegal puts lots of money in their pockets and/or keeps them employed. Law enforcement in particular is just as addicted to illegal drugs as any street junkie - for LEOs it means millions in salaries and toys each year.

How scientific.

And to elaborate the pool included only those who told you, or let it be known to you or others. Someone who id dying of cancer might not feel the need to tell you they are smoking weed on their way out.
I'm in medicine, and it was legal in the two states I reference here.
