Right, because if a crazy does something in the name of a religion, than he clearly represents that religion AND that must mean that all or most members of that religion support him. Right... sure... because crazies are clearly to be trusted and are average representations of a populace
With that stellar example of reasoning, all religions, political beliefs, and so forth are equally evil because people have killed in the name of all of them in the past. Heck, people have been killed over soccer matches, sneakers, and other stuff that doesn't even tie into religion and politics, so "clearly" everything is evil and everyone is a killer, based on the OP's failed logic.
But, no - let's continue to pretend that "our" faith is perfect while "their" faith is not, and that Muslims are the root of all evil... it surely can't have anything to do with the dictatorships that run their nations or the crushing poverty. No, no - it must be their religion... Sure.
