Both cited articles are from British publications. The first, from the Times, is behind a paywall, while the second, the Daily Mail, appears to be a rehash of the Times' article. The Daily Mail's article includes a quote from "Sir Mark Walport, the government's chief scientific advisor". Sir Mark Walport is an advisor to the British government.

These links are talking about a survey about the social attitudes of British teenagers between the ages of 14 and 15, but it's been spun in the OP as evidence against the American generational culture shift.

Nobody here bothers to read the articles. We're lucky if they even read the OP, since most people go straight from the thread title to the comment box.

Those of us "feel gooders"from the 70s have children ages 25-40.

LOL leave it to a D-Jaying Milf to give us a wake up call. Forums are about reading title, then making a comment without reading the OP, links, and other comments. So basically we are here talking to ourselves instead of having a conversation. The funny thing is I am assuming this forum section attracts better than average of the internet world. And yet even we can't discuss properly.

Perhaps British youth may be going through some conservative awaking or something. But I know that Americans are getting more and more liberal each generation. There are kids changing their sex these days and it is becoming totally normal. The first wave of trans kids had it tuff, the 2nd wave became almost worshipped for their "courage", now tranny kids and just normal. This is in the city, the rural areas I sure it is different.

I was referring to the parents of my generation (Xer). We are still dealing with the affects of the dope infused generation today.

Particularly odd since they live in Britain.

I don't get the glee here. While I think believing that a poll of 14-year olds means anything for the future is total bull****, why revel in anyone thinking its okay to deny rights to people based on gender or sexual orientation?

My adorable nephews are 5 and 6 years old. I don't want them to be on the receiving end of any wealth redistribution programs. That is all I have to say.
You mean like access to public schools, libraries, good public roads and social security? Brilliant.

Oh come on. You could levy similar criticism to the religious, conservative right crowd which breeds such stars as the Westboro Baptist Church and the Duggars.

Man, I wish people would stop looking for the most extreme of every situation to justify their stereotyping against entire groups. Its so divisive and unproductive. It just breeds hate.
