What "rules, institutions and support" does he have in mind? I assume he's talking about rules to forcibly integrate America with unassimilated Muslims and institutions and support to make them like it.
People from away who move into my area can't assimilate either, whether they come from Michigan, Illinois or Cincinnati. They can't drive, they litter, complain about what the area does not have, don't like the fundamentalist evangelical religious beliefs or overly conservative political views of the life long residents, don't support the local business community, complain about the farm down the road from their new subdivision and try to make the area into the place they just came from.
Point being that anyone who moves into a new area should not make themselves unwelcome no matter where they came from or where they go to, so this is not just a "muslim" issue.
Even in China, the Hui Muslims speak Chinese, have Chinese names...but they do not celebrate Chinese festivals and go to Mecca each year. They have been there for over 1000 years...
(P.S. I am not talking about the Turkic Muslims such as Uyghurs in China.)
Unfortunately, China and Russia are the countries that have best dealt with their Muslim populations. Radical Islam can only be defeated with brutal force like the Chinese are doing in Xinjiang and what the Russians have done in Chechnya. Yes, Russia had to fight 2 very long, brutal wars against the Chechens after the deadly suicide attacks launched from there. They totally laid waste to Chechnya, but now, the Chechens have accepted defeat and there is peace. That is the only kind of thing Muslims respect.
The pro-Palestine movement simply is prolonging the conflict. I think the solution to peace (well a temporary peace as the Bible says there will never be a permanent peace in the Middle East) is for the Israelis to completely annihilate Hamas regardless of civilian casualties, and to lay waste to Gaza the way the Russians laid waste to Chechnya.
The liberal approach to Muslims make the West look weak. They are demanding more and more now. In Minnesota Muslims are upset that the food kitchen doesn't have halal food.

Some traditions SHOULD be dropped when they come to the West. Like honor killings and arranged cousin marriages for example.....
They shouldn't have to get on their knees and beg for acceptance from people living here, no.
