You sound confused, the players were the first to make the announcement before a white gunman went crazy.
I don't see the connection between BLM, Kaperdick or anyone else that is anti police and this shooter.
If anything the white shooter hated cops and decided to shoot.
I don't even think it was a case of a white guy shooting a black cop.
It was just a deranged idiot looking to make his pitiful point and he died as a result of his violence.
For some (mostly criminals) they have always had a beef with the cops but it is not until lately that we have seen so much violence against the police.
We all have a right to question authority including BLM but resorting to violence should not be tolerated and needs to be stopped.

No, I'm not confused. Crazy people like this often seek signals of validation from public figures before taking extreme actions.
The shooter was not white incidentally (you can see his prior mugshot clearly in the article), but I don't think his race matters that much. This is clearly about being anti-police, on all sides, and has little to do anymore with the cover of social justice.

Hating cops is not anti-police? Kaepernick and the other protesting players have had it very clear that their protests are foremost a protest against police officers themselves.

It was previously posted by someone else they were white. I assumed it to be correct. My mistake.
