This is a problem for state and local police and the people they serve. The Federal gov has no role in this. I guess Trump feels only he can fix it.

A large portion of people supported NYC when they had Stop and Frisk but will now be against Trump when he suggests it.

It was a bad idea then and a bad idea now.

He'll probably back down and say Hillary thought of it first.

Look, we all want to have these lone wolf terrorists lugging around pressure cooker bombs or stocking up on M16 assault rifles be snagged before they do damage. But the manner of finding them and arresting them needs to be Constitutional and IAW the laws of the land.

For accuracy's sake, Trump proposed it in the context of reducing violence in black communities.

Which makes it no better. (I'm not saying you are saying that.)

"Close to?" He is a fascist. He's an American Mussoliini, if Mr. Mussolini's ghost will pardon the insult. Once again Trump proves beyond a doubt that he has no clue what a President does and does not do, or even how our system of government works.

However, there is nothing but some very partial quoting of Trump in this article, let's wait and see what he actually said.

I doubt that.

We do know that Hillary has outright said that the Supreme Court got the decision wrong about the 2nd amendment, and that she would make sure her justices would change that ruling.
I also oppose stop and frisk......and as a staunch Trump supporter - he is absolutely wrong if he is in fact proposing something this draconian

Search and Frisk was ruled unconstitutional, so yes, him wanting to allow it is violating the Constitution. We can add that to the 1st and 14th Amendments he wants to get rid of.
