So... The consensus is to continue the epidemic of Blacks killing other Blacks in Chicago? Fine. Then don't whine about it. /shrug
Spend more time investigating actual crimes and apprehending actual criminals as opposed to stopping random people on the street.
That's the lazy way to address crime.........."let's just search 100 people in the hopes one of them might be doing something illegal".
The people on the street would be more forthcoming if they weren't harassed so much and weren't afraid to get searched themselves for approaching an officer.
Hanging around is what got Eric Garner killed. He helped break up a fight. He should have ran along with the two who were fighting. They lived and got away. Recognizing Garner from a past arrest they decided to harass him as opposed to thanking him for helping to break up the fight.
What about the epidemic of 82% of whites are killed by other whites?
Actually, the percentage of Whites killed by non-Hispanic Whites is only 35%.
Lets compare the rates:
35% of Whites are killed by non-Hispanic Whites
90% of Blacks are killed by other Blacks.
Blacks, while only 13% of the population, are 43% of the murder victims.
Non-hispanic Whites, while 62% of the population, are only 53% of the murder victims (the latter percentage includes Hispanics, the FBI is ambiguous on breaking down that data).

Sounds great in theory, but Blacks won't "snitch" on other Blacks. They won't cooperate with police to solve murders. They fear retaliation, and they are correct in doing so:

Cops aren't shooting each other dead in the streets, and even aren't shooting very many Blacks. Blacks are killing each other at an entirely unacceptably high rate.
But since Blacks won't "snitch" and not one single Black leader has EVER stepped up and convinced the thugs to stop terrorizing Black neighborhoods, then Blacks just need to man up and take exactly what they deserve: no sympathy and no help.

He doesn't control the local police but if people see crime going down in the neighborhoods that do have it they will pressure their mayors to have it, too.
