I've also noticed in the past that their foreign affairs reporters have ties to the State Department or the Pentagon. Christiane Amanpour and Dana Bash come to mind. Bash is the wife of Hillary Clinton's chief foreign policy advisor who works for the CIA and the Defense Department.
A lot of the talking heads are funded directly by the government or by contractors. It came to light during the terrorism analyst Elizabeth O'Bagy controversy when her critics pointed out her employer, the Institute for the Study of War, was being funded by defense contractors. She had to resign since she falsified her credentials.
When the government pays the news it's time to be worried, no wonder they call it the Clinton "News" Network.
