Picking a fight with a relatively young and still fit former pro athlete is NOT a good plan.
Good for the mayor. No doubt the pie-thrower will file a lawsuit, but I hope, if so, it gets tossed quickly.
Reminds me of when Buzz Aldrin was approached by some idiot that accused Mr. Aldrin of 'faking' the moon landing. Got in his face. Buzz, although advanced years, gave the idiot a good slug to the face. Idiot filed suit. Judge said idiot was asking for it, and dismissed.
