If someone sees a person with a gun, walking down the street, be it a long gun, shot gun, or sidearm, holstered, the police get called. The person is stopped and questioned. More often than not, the person is well within their Constitutional Right.

Why can the police not do the same thing with people dressed in known Muslims, especially dressed in Muslim garb? It is just as scary to Americans these days as a gun.

Both fully Constitutional Rights, but one is taken more seriously. Not all gun owners are intent on harm and neither are all Muslims.

Why does 1st amendment get a pass, but the 2nd Amendment doesn't ,even though it actually says it shall not be infringed upon, but gets the most harassment from government.

Adhering to every word of the constitution & rejecting amendments is the same argument an extremist gives you about following their religious book to the letter. Adapt with changing times & be open to editing the constitution with changing circumstances. Religious freedom & freedom of speech are great as long as they are not abused to propagate discrimination & threaten national security. I love the usa constitution but I am open to making changes if it benefits people of this country & keeps us safe.

That is so true. When I see a person with a gun which is rare in the peoples republic of Mass.
I will do a quick threat assessment, it is human nature.
Some people can't get past the fear factor.

The same goes for a person in muslim garb and a group (2 or more) of late teens early twenties guys.

We are being conditioned to fear things such as guns, terrorists and young black men in baggy droopy clothes.
