How about a beauty contest which includes all sizes. Honestly, why do we even have this at all. What's the point

The fact is, Hooters would fire someone who got too fat. So would a gym. She was expected to maintain her weight, just like many actors and actresses are contractually for their films.

Let's see ISIS, the economy, civil unrest across the country(including two here in CA), mass shootings, but a big concern is a woman being called fat?
I think it's hilarious how all of a sudden these women who made a living showing off their bodies have had nightmares because mean ol' Donald Trump criticized their weight. All just false outrage because they realize Donald Trump can be the president in 4 months.
Follow the money.. Hillary is going after all pageant winners and probably paying them a nice chunk of change.. they want the presidency and they will seek out anyone and anything to take down Trump.
I think it is quite bland this whole talking point.. a pageant winner is suppose to represent beauty and in todays society fat is not considered beautiful as it was years ago.. fat women used to be considered desirable and very beautiful because it made a women look rich if she could indulge in a robust food supply.
To be pale was also a trait that you did not have to work in the fields and get tan.. Women used a parosol to keep their pale completion when going out in the sun.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but society dictates what is beautiful and that changes over the years of what is acceptable as being beautiful.
It's unbelievable that we have these beauty pageants for women. What is wrong with a woman gaining 60 pounds. And yes, telling her to lose weight is fat shaming. Curvy women are gorgeous. These pageants turn some to have eating disorders. But you don't care....as long as they look good to you
Why did she purge food and starve herself for a year before she entered?.. why didn't she enter being 60 lbs more in the first place? This girl knew what she was doing. She had issues with food and her weight.
Different country same criticism about a Miss overeating ad it is just common sense that Miss contenders are expected to have a certain weight or they can join a plus size contest.
Even a loyal Trump follower can't defend the Miss Housekeeping comment.
Miss Housekeeping means she's anything but because of her sordid past.
