Lots of MS13s in my area (Northern Va./DC). They make the Crips and Bloods look like the Salvation Army.
There was a small pack in the small city my town borders on. The city has since pushed the gangs out. Mostly...and through revitalization (by the city) along with the major state university buying up properties and expanding. As well as investors buying garbage hole rental properties, knocking them down and putting in student apartment housing.
My business in on the border. Out of nowhere and over the course of two days (evenings, they do their garbage in the middle of the night) businesses were tagged - spray painted - with "M-13" (dummies left out the S). My stand alone business, along with a stand alone bank, a day care center & a business in a strip mall. All within a mile of each other.
Close to two weeks later? Some local 19 year old kid, who lived behind my business was shot dead.
This kid (never would know the truth behind it if you didn't know a few of township police well enough, which every business owner sadly has to and due to the crap that lives in "that side of town") was bragging that he was an MS-13. Apparently "word" got back to whomever is in charge of the MS-13 gang being "disrespected like that".
The tagging was a warning that they were coming for him for "fronting".
All three morons were found, arrested and are in jail.

What is the purpose of destroying property because someone committed a crime and died as a result?
Pretty easy answer. Because it's fun to break and destroy stuff you don't own. It's fun to steal whatever you want free without fear of getting caught. All under the guise of social justice. Just go out and paint the town red.
No job to go to on tuesday morning. Welfare check comes in tomorrow. Why not have a little excitement after all, the media will rationalize it all away as just being frustrated.
Funny how the true Americans left in LA are Asian, LOL. Mostly immigrants or 1st generation Americans. Ironic isn't it? Some of those white folks in LA could possibly trace their heritage back to someone who fought for TX independence or someone who was in Normandy beach.
