So, some things emerging... the suspect knew Officer Snyder, as he was scheduled to testify in his felony drug trial. (That officer worked a neighborhood beat in that area.)
When Officer Snyder approached him to talk, he refused to show his hands. He then walked up to Officer Snyder, and put a 9mm handgun under Officer Snyder's chin and fired.

The 18 year old suspect..being described by news outlets as a "teenager' killed the officer who was responding to a disturbance call... He was shot as he approached.
The officer and suspect may have known each other from prior contacts...the "teenager" was a,known narcotics felon. He was wounded by another officer
