Your voters elevated Trump nearly to the White House, and he may yet make it there, in spite of everything. They did so because you have primed them for Trump for more than half a century.

But history will condemn you. History won’t forget your callowness. Because you knew.

I would say those in the know did know. Just as those in the know, knew about Hillary's corrupt practices.

And when he wins, this country will still be better off than with the alternative. You won't want it any other way.

I don't think they did.

There was lots of evidence out there but I think they didn't believe the reality celebrity would lead like a reality celebrity.

They were wrong.

He has changed the Republican party and the Democrat party..neither for the better.

That's not good leadership.

Nothing, and I do mean nothing, Trump has done has surprised me. Many of the things he has done or said never occurred to me might happen because my imagination isn’t that innovative, but once he has done something, got to say, it has fell right in line with what I thought he was capable of doing. To Trump’s credit, it’s not like he has ever bothered to pretend to be less of a cad or jerk than he is in reality.

But, yeah, his presidency has changed both parties forever, and neither for the better.

The two parties have been around for a collective 380 years. Trump has been in political office for 7 of those collective years.

Trump didn't change the parties, all he did was reveal their corruption and avarice. For better or worse, that's exactly what many of his voters sent him there to do.
