In 20 years there is going to be a real problem because there aren't going to be enough people working to support the influx of illegals, refugees, and career welfare recipients.
The Dems want/need a dependent nanny state to stay in power, but they will soon find themselves in a heap of trouble with that. They love to spend everyone else's money, but what do they do when the cash cow kicks the bucket? Social Security will be insolvent and they will have raided all the 401(k)'s.
At that point America will be swirling in the bowl and all that will be left is for someone to flush the handle. They can then turn the keys over to the Chinese who will probably own 75% of the country by then anyway. At least we can get some good dim sum.
I disagree, I think that scenario is self extinguishing, the government has no money to give, they can only take it from someone else and re-distribute it (taking their cut of course). So.......... when there is no more places to take from, end of the welfare state.
Obamas Iran nuclear deal gave Iran the OK to have nuclear missiles in 10 years, he also gave them funds to do it. Since they have an ideology of death to America, I don't think we have to worry about where we will be in 20 years.

The big problem we have now is that to maintain our standard of living we are going trillions of dollars into debt. At some point we have to pay that debt back and no matter which party is in control they will keep kicking the can down the road. To avoid adding to the debt we would have to stop most welfare pay outs which would result in widespread unrest. The average American does not understand the scope of the problem. Every new bridge, repaved road, or new school was 'paid for' by going further into debt. China owns most of our debt and once they grow enough to not depend on us buying their products our goose is cooked.

I'm not an Obama fan boy but there is a lot of misinformation on the Iran deal. Before they could get any sanctions relief they had to burry all their nuclear facilities in concrete. It would take them a long time to rebuild them and doing so would retrigger sanctions, so it's unlikely. It is true that lifting the sanctions will allow them to sell huge amounts of oil and some of that revenue will go to Shia terrorist groups like Hezbollah.
Anyone who thinks the US doesn't have problems needs to visit some large cities and see the large number of homeless in our big cities.
Look internationally. North Korea has nuclear weapons under a 'great leader' who may or may not be sane. The Middle East is volatile and war between Israel and its enemies with nuclear weapons always a possibility. Russia is resurgent and doesn't mean well.
Domestically there is NO GROWTH. It's tough enough to find a decent job today and the mass use of robots is just getting started.
Clinton seems likely to win and will support her fellow 1%. Expect taxes and energy costs to increase, small business creation to decline. Health care will become a two-tiered system just as it is in England - government programs for most and private care (Harley Street in London) for the wealthy.
Hard to be optimistic about the US. Toss up whether we'll be the next Brazil or the next Venezuela.
