Giving someone else the information first is hardly proof of anything. I told my brother when I was getting married before anyone else. He wasn't in on the decision making. I told my best friend first, when my wife was pregnant. He wasn't in on that and had no part in it.
Maybe Assange told the Russians first because he likes them more than he does us, or because he wants to stir the pot? Only Assange knows. Why can't it be the Chinese behind Assange? They have hacked our computers at will stealing our most precious of military secrets. maybe it was the Israeli's. We seem to always be catching them red handed spying on us.

Yeah, but that doesn't fit the narrative that Trump is a Russian Manchurian candidate with a man crush on Putin.

Besides, if the subject isn't Trump's relationship with Russia, someone in our crack news media might actually spend five minutes talking about how the only thing Democrats seem interested in doing is ****ing the voters.

1. It is an american election, makes sense to tell american media about it before Russian media.

2. Not only did RT know about it first, they were airing the emails before Wikileaks announced their existence, meaning they not only knew about the emails, they actually had them.

3. it shows that the russians are probably the ones giving Assange the emails.

4. Democrats are the best option for the voters.

1. Maybe to you, but you aren't Assange.

2. Ok, RT had the E-mails before the American media....and?

3. Anyone with a laptop and the technical ability can hack computers.

Your Russian conspiracy theory is an obvious attempt to draw attention away from the embarrassing information in the hacked files.

4. Yeah, well, my union rep keeps telling me that and every time I ask "Why?" he can't give us an answer that can stand up to further questioning, like "Is that actually true?

The simple fact is that we have a system that lends itself to corruption at all levels.

You can't tax some of the people and then turn around and give that tax money to all the people who didn't pay taxes without eventually ending up with a voting class that effectively enslaves the working class and a donor class that makes sure the working class never gains control of their own destiny.

You can point over there at the Russians if you like but we know our enemy comes from within.

What reason do you believe he has to work with Russia on this issue ????

Remember, he is in an Embassy in London. If not the US media, the BBC and other british media have never shied away from attacking the U.S. and our political system.

They broadcast them before Wikileaks did. That means in some form, they had the actual emails.

No, they cant, but thats besides the point, the DOJ and FBI have both said Russia is behind the hacking of the DNC. Its not that big of a stretch to say they are also behing the hacking of Pedesta.

Maybe he is a mindless drone who votes like he is told, but I doubt the above would even stump a mindless drone.

No candidate is proposing taxing the poorest of us.

And there is no political system that is impenetrable when it comes to corruption.

If WikiLeaks and Assange are truly independent, how did Russian media know about the e-mail dump before any else did? There's obviously a back channel of communications between Assange and Russian state actors. It's becoming increasingly clear that Assange and WikiLeaks are a front for Russian intelligence and disinformation operations.

It could come from Kim Il Jung and the ghost of Hitler and as long as it's true.....which it has been....I don't have an issue.

I find it disturbing that so many are trying to discredit the source because they are scared of the truth.

"the DOJ and FBI have both said Russia is behind the hacking of the DNC."

DOJ and FBI have exactly zero credibility at this point.

"Maybe he is a mindless drone who votes like he is told, but I doubt the above would even stump a mindless drone."

Maybe.

Ok, so you explain to me how we have good union jobs and free trade with third world hell holes where the local toothless peasants are paid a tiny fraction of what US workers make, corporate taxes are low and companies can pollute all they like as long as they line the pockets of the ruling class.

Union hierarchy, much like our political parties, are in a tough position where they can't actually do what is right for working Americans without destroying themselves, and they know it.

The donor class that owns both parties wants free trade and lots of guest workers so that they can whip-saw US workers.

We have to take whatever they are offering, union or not, because they are free to send their jobs out of the country with little consequence.

This is why real wages have been declining for nearly two decades now.

Personally, my income has been more or less steadily declining since the late 1990s and I now earn about two-thirds of what I used to make.

Most people I know have a similar story to tell.

So what can my union do?

Demand my wages be increased?

OK, then the company threatens to move to Mexico or China if we don't take a pay cut, so what good does the union do if we have free trade and any company can leave the US and still sell their products here?

Republicans have always been on the payroll of their corporate overlords, but now so are the Democrats.

There just aren't enough tax payers left to swing elections, so we loose out to mooches and the donor class.

Guess you haven't read any of them. If there wasn't anything eyebrow raising at the very least, than the mainstream media wouldn't bother to cover it, not even to the miniscule extent that they currently are.
