There would have been outrage from every gun owner and manufacturer, if this had went the other way.

You have to hold the individual responsible and liable, for the misuse of a tool, that cause harm to another individual.

The tool wasn't defective. The tools user was.

Can you imagine the precedent this could create?

Auto makers sued because some nut killed someone with a car.

Beer makers sued because some nut got drunk and caused harm.

Knives, blunt instruments like baseball bats, (which are used to kill MORE then rifles), swimming pools, etc.

This so-called lawyer who took this case in nothing more then a bottom feeding money seeking scum bag who KNEW he didn't stands a snow ball's chance in hell of winning yet, he dragged these people through hell, AGAIN.

His type should be dis-barred!

Would you sue the makers of the alcohol that Brock Turner used to get drunk and rape his victim?

Looks like Hillary doesn't agree with the judge's ruling.

Common sense prevailed. Should a tool maker be responsible for a lunatic who got his hands on a chain saw?

Perhaps the state is responsible because the lunatic wasn't in the nut house?

Depends on state. I think Texas has a law where the loser picks up the tab.

Tort reform.

Better have a good case and better have bullet proof evidence, to support that case.
