With Robotics where it stands today, almost any traditional factory type job is obsolete
and will be replaced by robotics every time.
So even if and when the factories come back they won't be hiring people like they did in post world war America...unless the people have education/experience in robotic programing or
repair.

You have to adapt to the job.

A draftsmen had to learn a cad program
A welder repairman (automotive plant) had to either become an electrician, or millright.
A Bridgeport operator had to learn how to program a CNC machine.

$50/h is a skilled tradesman's salary. Last time I checked, there is a growing shortage of people in the trades right now. Those jobs are ALWAYS available.

Yes-

It is better to have a $50/hr job than a $7.50/hr job.

Are you insane?

Of course people will work for 7X the money in order to support their families and secure a future for thier children.

Liberals, as they are fascists, want people to become dependent serfs to the elites.

It may be the average salary in Canada, it may even be that way in New York city and the east coast, but I do not know many tradesman that make over $50 an hr while working for someone else. They usually top out at about $35-40 an hour around Denver until they start their own company.

We do have manufacturing jobs left in America but they require vocational training beyond high school. The menial "turn a bolt bob" jobs of the past have long been automated or sent overseas.

Having been in the business it's actually tough to find a worker who can pass a drug test or can do basic math like fractions or decimals. It's a pretty sad situation.

Yes and they still do. Except now the training is a lot more technical in nature and the shop is taking a loss training someone. And in many cases the trainee either quits, decides they don't want to do the work anymore, or isn't capable of learning how to do the work. It appears that blue collar work seems to be a dumping ground for the "delinquents" who can't make it in any other working environment. They will be no use to the shop owner.

Someone who is intelligent enough to quickly pick up skilled manufacturing is not going to waste their time working in manufacturing to begin with. They will choose a field with a higher ROI, like computer science.
