Even after 2 years after France legalises gay marriage, people will protest in public in really big numbers against this. France is like the USA and deeply divided over this issue.

PARIS — Tens of thousands of people have marched in Paris to call for the repeal of a law allowing gay marriage, six months before France's next presidential election.

The protesters ended up at Trocadero Plaza, near the Eiffel Tower. Police estimated the crowd at 24,000, while organizers gave a figure of 200,000.

They were also protesting Sunday against the use of assisted reproduction techniques and surrogate mothers to help same-sex couples have babies.http://www.nydailynews.com/news/worl...icle-1.2833162

And I'm guessing it's mostly Gay people protesting against Gay marriage! They suddenly woke up and thought: Now that was a stupid thing to do!

I'm Gay, and read my bumper sticker: Ban Marriage, Imprison All Violators!

2 daddys or 2 mommys makes me uneasy. Especially when they raise their child to be a transgender like that 11 year old boy the lesbians were putting through hormone therapy to stop his puberty.

Most people raising transgendered kids are mom-and-dad couples.
Can the malarkey.

Well transgender is really in a first wave. So yeah most transgender kids have a mother and father, but if you think about it, a valid argument can be made, transgender parents will most likely produce transgender kids.

Haha, just like how gay people will produce gay kids?

Years ago when GWB was in office, I attended a town hall meeting on gay marriage. One guy stood up and angrily said homosexuality causes teenage pregnancy.

Keep government out of marriage.

Consenting adults should be able to marry whomever they choose. The government should have no roll in this at all.

Well, if teenage boys have more sex with teenage girls to prove they aren't gay...

Ah, well, who cares if it makes you uneasy.

I hate seeing fat parents with their fat kids stuffing their fat faces at a fast food restaurant, because I know that as parents, they are being horrible examples for their kids.... but that's none of my business, is it?

Leave people's families alone. What neighbor's family looks like is of no consequence to me or you. That's THEIR private life.

The gay marriage thing is a dead issue. It's over. The right lost that battle of the culture wars. There isn't enough animosity towards it to make it an issue anymore, especially as the older folks die off. People under 40 just don't care, and they shouldn't.
