That's what they are saying, besides they are only being denied to purchase new guns there is no search/seizure for existing weapons. I'm sure most individuals are not in that big a hurry to join ""A well regulated Militia..."

Where does it say that someone has to be in a well regulated militia? Maybe you need to reread what it says, as well as study the language in the 2nd amendment.

"The right of THE PEOPLE to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed". Does The People in the first amendment only refer to the press? To those in political parties?

I have not found where those on the NFL are barred from gun purchase(s), have you? I stand corrected on my earlier post that I was responding to, I thought they were being blocked based on the posters statement...

U.S. Code › Title 10 › Subtitle A › Part I › Chapter 13 › § 311
10 U.S. Code § 311 - Militia: composition and classes

(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.
(b) The classes of the militia are—
(1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
(2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.

Per the wishes of the NRA, we do allow them to purchase firearms.

Why should they get to vote? Because they have not been convicted of any crime.
