I'm no fan of George Bush but to believe something like that is just outrageous!!! This is why even though Donald Trump may win the presidency. Its not going to matter if we don't win back our culture that includes education, the main street media and pop culture. Otherwise the country will be finished.

I don't think it is brainwashing - as much as general disinterest. Not a lot of Americans are really up on history to begin with.

Most young people probably have no idea who Stalin was and the fact that he killed more people than Hitler is generally unknown. But in the end - for the "casual history" observer (average American) it doesn't really matter too much if they know this or not.

What does matter is that Bush killed a god awful lot of people and that should be remembered because it was recent and so unnecessary.

What are you babbling about? Perhaps you need to read your own links first:

Our government run schools don't want to teach how dictators come into power or the death count of these dictators. That is why they don't understand how a media that isn't doing its job is dangerous for the people.

Of course nothing in the article you cite says anything about "The Left Dangerosuly Brainwashing" anyone about anything so we'll just take your thread title as the hyperbolic BS whine it is.

No need to worry. All statists kill folks. We'll get a new mass murderer to break Mao's record soon enough.

Just remember folks: keep voting to make sure it happens!

26% is a pretty enormous number to get a really simple and fundamental fact wrong.
Stalin had a couple of million citizens shot, purposely starved to death 3M+ in just 2 years, and all of that was before the Great Terror and WWII.

That's more than two orders of magnitude larger than all military and civilian deaths on all sides combined in the Iraq War. Stalin purposely starved to death 100x more people (by taking all their grain and cutting off their borders for 2 years) in 2 years than died in the Iraq War. He executed 10x as many people just during the Great Terror than died in the Iraq War from all causes.

26% is an enormous number to have get that wrong.

No doubt GWBush, Cheney, and friends, are war criminals.
Does it really matter if they killed a million people and someone else killed two million?

When I was in high school, the Only thing I learned about Stalin was that he lead Russia during WWII.

The truth is, we didnt go in depth about Russia other than a couple of Battles.

Also, Communism, Socialism, Stalin, and Lenin are 4 different things. Im saying that because the article claims that only a small percentage got the 100 million number right.

I see no estimate after a quick google search , that any individual one of the 4 killed 100 million people.
