Now the singers are getting in on the act.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/anthem-si...5081--spt.html

A woman performing the national anthem prior to an NBA preseason game in Miami did so while kneeling at midcourt.

Quote:
Denasia Lawrence opened her jacket just before she started to sing, revealing a "Black Lives Matter" shirt, then dropped to her left knee and performed the song. She said it was her way of protesting racial oppression.

"We're being unjustly killed and overly criminalized," Lawrence wrote early Saturday in a Facebook post. "I took the opportunity to sing and kneel to show that we belong in this country and that we have the right to respectfully protest injustices against us."

Miami Heat officials said they had no advance knowledge of Lawrence's plan to protest. Lawrence, a social worker, kept the shirt hidden until her performance.

"I didn't get paid to sing the national anthem nor was this moment about any sort of fame," Lawrence wrote. "Black Lives Matter is far larger than a hashtag, it's a rallying cry."

Another despicable protest against America.

As long as Americans don't do anything about it will continue. Just about everyday I see a news story of a police risking his/her own life to save the lives of people of all races. These hero's get little to no recognition nationally.

In almost every televised incident where a black person was shot by police there was justification. There were also mistakes but there is a right way to protest. To dishonor our country is the wrong way.

I support our police men and women.

I wonder what she would say about this white cop.

White Cop Saves Black Man From Racially-Motivated Murder

Here's another story about a bad ass white cop.

Change begins within and when it comes to BLM that change has to start in the black community.

It is terrible when a young man of any colour is gunned down by Police but why when it happens to a black guy do we get violent protests and riots? And it is only certain types of black guys that spark the riots. Why not all of them?

Peaceful protests such as taking a knee during the National Anthem has gotten lots of notice to a legitimate problem but then when we see some idiot dancing on the top of a burned out Police car and others looting and trashing their neighborhoods that does absolutely nothing to promote actual concern.

I thought getting on your knees is a sign of weakness and submission?
