I don't know the ins and outs of VietNam, but I know both tom and jane were anti war as am I and talk about today and wars continue with the current cast of cronies. When I worked to Jane she got a lot of fan mail, and a lot from the vets "who forgave her".... she didn't want any war.

I know this town has a huge memorial with all the names of the 58,000 americans who died in Nam...talk about senseless wars and killing. And the destruction of it all. Very very sad.

Amen Amen... that goes for this century's continuing wars and those who put us there.

Here is a long history on Jane and Tom and on Jane's comments on today's muslim mess we got into. Jane has apologized on issues, but never regretted going and doing what they did. So many wimps continue to kill around the world. American Imperilism ...

Especially since they can sublet their apartments for large sums of money.

In Santa Monica? Where?

The travelling replica of the Wall in D.C. has been displayed in Santa Monica. Are you referring to that? Or thinking of the POW/MIA memorial in Venice?

The one in Venice...yes. I know some vandals did some paint damage to it recently. Human Animals.

Here is what DailyKos says about Tom.

Tom Hayden has died, 76

That doesn't go on that much as far as I know...the landlords clamped down on what went on.

I couldn't care less what "Jane" has to say. As for Tommy boy, she was smart enough to divorce the guy... so there must have been some shortcoming there, eh?

Not sure why his anti-war activism is being zeroed in on since that was a minor part of his agenda.

I hated the war, lost a lot of friends older brothers in Nam. Hell, from 4-15 I figured I would be drafted, thank God it ended when I was 16... just 1 year short of having to register.

I hate wars just as much as you two, but I also don't place self-avowed communists on a pedestal either.

As I said, don't care for Hanoi Jane, who BTW made millions from Capitalist Pigs on her exercise videos (irony), and loath Hayden for his rhetoric and violence, only to become "the Man" himself. Hypocrites both are... and now we have one less in this world.

Calls for a celebration, and it seems only a couple in here do not agree with me.

Who, IIRC, paid him $20 million in their divorce settlement.

So you made your comments on Jane...that is OK

As for divorcing him blah blah....millions get divorced or SHOULD be divorced. On shortcomings....who is perfect?

I lean social in my politics but can't get myself around the medicare for all...we have over 300,000,000 and that's a LOT of regulations. I do like my medicare though and don't abuse insurance.

Good grief -- you are one angry person with all your loathing...cancer cells love anger.
