Just looking at their party affiliation & voting for Republicans. We need to have some representation in govt.

Fyi, I am an immigrant from Asia.
Republicans dont represent you, they represent the donor class. Are you a member of the big money donor class? The billionaire class laugh at people who vote for their puppets. If you want representation, vote for people who are not beholden to anyone but the people. Dont vote for puppets who laugh in your face. You might as well give your money straight to the billionaires instead of voting for their puppets. Dont complain when your representative serve the interests of his and hers financial overlords.

Mike - you talk such nonsense - the whole political system is for themselves - not just Republicans - only you have blinders on and think that all these freebies are coming out of thin air. Obviously the Democratic party doesn't represent us either as the middle class is always taking the hit for all those freebies and initiatives they pass - so who are you kidding.

they were RISING. skyrocketing is the word obama used to describe what energy prices would do under his energy plan.

Obama made a deal with insurance companies and guaranteed them a certain profit, which, if not met, would be subsidized with taxpayer money. Obama didn't live up to his end of the deal and the contract was broken. given the environment created by obamacare, the insurance comapnies were left to hang and the only solution is to raise the prices exponentially.

Obamacare was passed without the legislators reading or understanding its implications. the 2000 page legislation was so complex even the dems were constantly being surprised by its regulations. In that environment you canot say, oh, well, prices were rising anyway.

No, Obama and the dems are guilty of creating the disaster we now face.

I'd like to see comments on this. I haven't been following the various healthcare proposals closely.
How about reading what City Data Poster are saying:

Right, and that is what is so dishonest about the argument constantly being parroted by the left.

"Premiums were already skyrocketing long before Obamacare"

BS

They were increasing but not anywhere near what we have been experiencing since Obamacare was illegally pushed onto all of us.

The old "skyrocketing" was going from $200/month to $225/month now it is just ridiculous and out of control.

"Medicare for all" would bankrupt many, many practices and hospitals around the country.
