Where did they get the money?
If they got it from parishioners did they approve?
As they get tax breaks - is this fair--taxpayers supporting their views.
If they can do this could they also support legislation ending the prohibition against sex between priests and childrena?
Not all green things are good for you... even too many pistachios can kill you...
I think perhaps as the purveyor of moral behavior in his parish he feels the need to reduce the behavior that systemically reduces people's ability to excel in life.
Sure..you can throw in all the issues with priest behavior but maybe this one is one of the good ones. Most are.
People give to the church willingly looking for moral guidance in their lives...sounds like this priest is putting his money where his mouth is. I just bet he also had to invest heavily into drug abuse and lives less realized and weighed the real costs of drug abuse
Marijuana has increased heroin use exponentially as the market has become flooded
Serous enough to deal with..you bet

same place unions get their money, except the unions conscript the money from the teachers and the parishoners volunteerily give the money to the parish.
