Wonder if the Satan 2 helps. This new Russian weapon, unveiled this week, travels at 15,500 mph, can evade any weapon system, has a range over 6,000 miles, and each missile delivers sixteen 2.5 megaton warheads that can be separately guided over a short range (each of those over 150 times as powerful as the Hiroshima bomb).

Suggested setup:

go to your hometown
put in 2500 for the yield
select Surface and tick Casualties
open Advanced
leave the Airburst settings alone
select the 200 psi, 20 psi, and 5 psi boxes for overpressure rings
don't select any radiation rings
select third degree 100% and third degree 50% or thermal radiation
select Crater
hit Detonate to drop the first of the sixteen warheads
click Launch multiple, move the map a bit, and click Center ground zero
hit Detonate to drop another warhead
continue until you've dropped sixteen warheads around your area

Then you can go down and read about the various rings.

I was able to obliterate the Dallas / Fort Worth / Arlington / Plano / Denton area with sixteen 2500 kt warheads / one Satan 2 missile...

One Sarmat 2 can carry a payload that is supposed to de-populate an area the size of Texas or France.

Yah I know what they say, and it's pretty terrifying but one couldn't take out a country or large state.

Under ideal conditions one could largely wipe out a large metroplex like LA, NYC, Chicago, DFW, etc. The effects and definitions are varied though.

From what I have read the Sarmat wouldn't have the effect they say, even with 10, 750kt warheads.
