These "what if..." hypothetical threads are so stupid. Of course, liberals can't prove how they would have reacted if Rice had used a private server, so what is the point other than to provide right wingers a chance to pat themselves on the back.
How about this? If Rice had a private email server, right wingers would have had not problem with it. What a bunch of hypocrites you all are!
I can guarantee you we wouldn't have frothed at the mouth about it for 4 years, chanted "lock her up" at our political rallies, and then, 24 months after she became completely irrelevant, we wouldn't be posting asinine threads about it on city data. I can guarantee you all of that.
While I think both Condi and Powell did use private servers for some emails there are a couple of differences - first is that emails were not necessarily quite as ponderous and common then as they are today. Second, I think there was an order sent out by President Obama specifically telling people to use the government servers. Ms. Clinton, then, was under a different set of rules than either Rice or Powell. And she broke those rules.

Liberals will probably say that they wouldn't have cared if Condoleezza Rice would have had a private server and classified email were on a laptop and/or device of a soon to be sex offender and well proven pervert!
She and Colin Powell did, you know. Condi is educated, a concert-level pianist, and has the chops to handle running the government. I just wonder if she would have had a chance running in light of the fact she's gay. That might not play well in GOPville.

But if your only intent is to start an argument, then a 'what if?' is a way to do it. For those who get suckered into the trap, of course. There are always some folks who wish they could go back in time and change things.

My reply was not a "what if". She did the same thing as Hillary. Lied to get us involved in a useless stupid war. IMO both should be in prison for that.
