I'll grant you that Trump thinks any publicity is good publicity. But Clinton's use of the media is as devious--getting questions in advance (sorry you weren't included, Bernie), speaking mainly to reporters who has her campaign review their stories before being published, calling journalists that ask hard questions "dicks" (you're probably the only one at CNN that's impartial, Jake Tapper). Want me to go on?
Definition of partisan hack--any reporter that fails to present both sides of a story. And most reporters are.

I recall "The most trusted name in news" Walter Cronkite reporting we had LOST the war in Nam during TET while standing in Saigon (safely, I might add) even though we WON EVERY SINGLE BIG BATTLE.
The North Vietnamese generals late stated how surprised they were that we "quit" because of how OUR wins during TET devastated them.
Who just reported the story of Hillary Clinton being investigated by the FBI just before the election, and brought down Hillary's chance of winning the election from about 85% to 60% ?
Answer: The mainstream media.
If the mainstream media was the propaganda arm of the democrats that Hillary Clinton FBI investigation story would have been buried or discredited.
Fact is the mainstream media and the CEO's who control it have a financial incentive to support republicans. Republicans practice supply side/trickle down economics (literally tax cuts for large corporations and the wealthy.) And all of the major news networks are owned by large corporations and controlled by CEO's.
And while republicans give CEO's trillions of dollars in tax cuts, the democrats try to raise the CEO's tax rates (and its CEO's who ultimately control all of our major news networks.)
And members of a political party naturally protect and help their political party, like most people in the FBI being white males and strongly supporting Donald Trump, and then the FBI doing new investigations on Hillary Clinton just before the election when non-convicting investigations have been going on against Hillary for years.
But then the mainstream media blasted the FBI story just before the election. Could it have been timed more perfectly to sway a election?
And this new FBI investigation was largely based a controversial book, and even republicans have criticized the timing of this investigation. And then FBI spokes people say its not a investigation rather a inquiry and not likely to lead to a indictment. And yet the mainstream media did not report these facts.
I have no direct evidence that this was a conspiracy or politically motivated but its sure FISHY (and it leaves me feeling shocked and scared for our democracy.)

Everyone, the above post is true. Although we supposed to have open press etc., the system stifles it. Cheap/entertainment news is paramount, investigative reporting is expensive and hurts the bottom line, stocks/shareholders. Even certain bad news can hurt a corporation's bottom line, a corporation that owns one of our major networks. Example would be known pediphiles who have worked for Disney for years. Got to keep that one quiet because it would hurt their bottom line. Britain, which does not have a free press, is in fact a freer press than we because of the way our system is set up. What spooks me the most is what the media does not report and or report correctly from all sides of politics. Politics in news "biases" has been around since our founding. Newspapers were notorious of this.

Perhaps you can to comment on what News channels you find objective. I suppose you think the NYT, Chicago Time, Washington Post, WSJ, LA Times, Reuters, AP International are all biased ?
Just because you don't like or agree with what much of the media says does not make them biased. It makes you close-minded.
