He has done nothing to legalize pot. He is still fighting the war on pot. So how could he have done "more" than anyone?

He can remove it from schedule I but he wont.

Fortunately for this veteran, this twisted story from last year resulted in charges being dropped. Others have not been so lucky.

Police Arrest 94-year-old Veteran for Felony Marijuana Charges

The War on Drugs may have reached its pinnacle of absurdity when 94-year-old World War II veteran Douglas Ponischil was arrested for felony marijuana charges earlier this year. The pot had been mailed to his home on someone else’s behalf, and law enforcement swept him up with no further investigation.

Obama has commuted the sentences of more non-violent drug offenders than the past six presidents combined.

And don't you know its democrats that want to decriminalize Marijuana, and its the republicans who want to keep marijuana illegal?

Republicans even block marijuana legalization after voters vote for it.

And republicans hate marijuana so much they will not even allow federal studies involving medical marijuana.

What are you going to say next, republicans support welfare for poor black Americans and democrats oppose it?

If you will read my posts, I never said anything about Republicans. I totally agree that a lot of Republicans are fighting the war on drugs. There are exceptions such as Ron Paul and Republican David Simpson of Longview Texas. But the tide is turning and more and more republicans support legalization in some form.

But I still say Obama, who has more power over marijuana than any other human on earth, is our single point of failure. He is still fighting the drug war.

And BTW, I'm not a Republican.

Obama relaxed federal regulations on marijuana.

And "Obama’s New Medical Marijuana Policy Could Lead to Federal Legalization."

Obama’s new medical marijuana policy could lead to federal legalization.

Obama has done more for legal marijuana research, decriminalization, and future legalization than every republican in Washington combined (and more than every republican that has held office during the last 40 years.)

I'm wondering why you never started a thread regarding the sentencing of blacks and minorities in rather large numbers for minor drug offenses. Yet here you pulled out one 94 year old veteran, ah yes the injustice.

Does creating anti-Obama threads ever grow tiresome.

"It’s crazy to recall, but marijuana wasn’t fully legal anywhere when Obama took office. Yet if initiatives set to appear on November’s ballot end up passing, marijuana will be available without medical prerequisites in a fifth of American states."

“He (Obama) is the best president ever on marijuana policy,”

"Since states started legalizing marijuana outright, the (Obama) administration has actually provided a lot of leeway to states to go ahead and implement their own laws,"

Our SINGLE point of failure, despite no other president doing anything to decriminalize marijuana, while Obama has at least opened up the pathway to legalization?

Silly post. States have legalized pot over the objections of Obama. Obama is still fighting the war on pot.

If Obama wanted to he could legalize pot with a stroke of his pen. But he prefers to fight the war on pot..

Obama is the leader in the war on drugs.
