It was just another lie from him. Obama lies constantly, without hesitation or remorse. He is a pathological liar. He really is.

And now he's begging people to vote for the person he said would say anything to get elected but change nothing.

And people are supposed to trust him .

He's making things up that the KKK will take over America if Trump is elected. Fear mongering

Most black Americans live in poverty, are low income workers, are middle class Americans, or own small businesses. And very few black Americans are in a position to benefit from supply side/trickle down economics (tax cuts for large corporations and the very rich.)

Republicans oppose welfare, oppose high min wages, oppose unemployment benefits, oppose middle class tax cuts, oppose small business tax cuts, oppose lowering credit card interest rates, oppose lowering student loan interest rates, ex.ex.

And many black Americans desperately need jobs, but republicans put the well-being of large corporations profits over jobs for Americans.

And this issue in not just black and white.

For Example Donald Trumps tax cuts will raise our national debt to 127% of GDP (when Hillary Clinton will keep our debt at 87% of GDP.)

And Trumps tax cuts will give middle class Americans 8% of his tax cuts, and then give the richest 5% of Americans 51% of the tax cuts.

And if Trump wins he will stop/eliminate over $1 trillion dollars in needed infrastructure repairs spending and needed spending on education (because Trump will give that money to the richest 5% of Americans in tax cuts.)

And black Americans voting democrat is also extremely important for the prosperity of America. The republican corporate machine has taken most white men as loyal supporters, and its black Americans votes that give the best chance to keep this corporate controlled group out of power.
See, this is the type of thinking that is so destructive to blacks and why it is so difficult for them as a group to rise. Voting Republican is considered an "insult"??? Look at the condition of the inner cities that have been democratic-run for decades, and look at the decades/generations of poverty for blacks. A lot of blacks who've risen out of their tough situations have credited hard work in spite of their situations, and were rewarded. That is definitely a more Republican-leaning principle. I don't think any legitimate Republicans want to get rid of welfare, but many want to reform it and encourage hard work. Their policies around small businesses could help many blacks succeed with hard work. I think anyone has the right to vote however they want, but The fact that you see it as an "insult" and destructive for blacks to vote republican is scary and the kind of mental trap that has kept blacks down for so long.

*most small business owners lean Republican due to less regulation. Also the ACA (Obamacare) has really hurt some small businesses in its current form.

I think its funny that you all think that black people in America blindly follow Michelle Obama (or her husband) like they are our "masters."

She was speaking her case for the election. Same as all other partisan politicians do.

Some GOPers do the same thing - tell us why we should vote for the GOP.

Not sure why the OP thinks this is so special. Probably only because Michelle Obama is black. Trump saying the blacks should vote for him and the GOP due to XYZ is okay, but Michelle Obama doing it isn't.....?

Atlanta is democratic and is more vibrant than ever. Transit could be much better, but Republicans wont fund it nor expand it.

NYC is also doing extremely well...so is Seattle, LA, and several others.

Only democratic large cities I can think of that fit your description are Chicago and Detroit. Detroit has a Republican house and governor...you can thank them for helping destroy that city. That leaves Chicago which Ill be honest I have no idea why it is the way it is. However clearly there are far more examples of how the DEMs are running cities right than wrong.

What do you think is wrong with Chicago?

Contrary to what many people believe crime there is much better than it was 10-15 years ago and the economy in Chicago is doing well too.

Detroit is also getting better economically and the crime is down in Detroit.

"Good and bad" is relative. FWIW Atlanta has worse crime rates than Chicago in a variety of categories.

Just amazing how it is supposedly wrong for Michelle Obama for saying (in 2014) what almost all Republican and Democratic officials say. Even many posters on this thread have expressed that African-Americans should just vote for generic GOP candidates and somehow that will make things better. Michelle Obama does and it is bad, Republicans do it and it is good. Got it.
