Trying to drag the country back 100 years isn't going to win elections.

My main concern is illegal immigration and importing refugees who may be a threat to our country and will suck our welfare coffers dry. We don't have the jobs and resources to sustain either of the above. So wanting illegal immigration stopped, deport those here and being careful of what kind of refugees and the number of them we allow into our country is dragging the country back 100 years? The future demographics is because of the above yet we should accept it and not fight it? Just cave into the Democrats would want all of the above?

Sure. Draw your arbitrary lines in the sand, but at end of the day you're trying to force wage protection and job security on companies that don't think it's in the best interest of their bottom line. That's the same argument you make against Unions.

Now imagine where Republicans would be with Hispanic, Black, and Asian blue collar voters if they were as pro-Union as they were pro-Trump?

You can call that moving toward democrats policies, but that would be the same lazy thinking that got you into this mess.

No, because their liberal agendas will give everyone an opportunity to change the American constitution to meet their requirements. This will give rise to new political parties; many if which will be driven by Islamic influences and deteriorate the very fabric of this nation. People who are escaping suppressive and corrupt governments like those in in Latin America will eventually turn this government into the very thing they are escaping. The United States as we know it will no longer exist. We will be weakened military, socially, and morally. So no, the democratic party will not rule for ever. It will bring on its very own demise.

What "immigration"? Our immigration numbers haven't changed much over the decades. Criminal aliens are not immigrants. We have a crime problem, not an immigration problem. One that Dems (and many Rs) refuse to address.

The GOP has 2 choices:
1) Continue catering to the White resentment whiners stuck in the 1950s and keep on losing. Oh yeah, and drop the Bible stuff too. Nobody outside the Bible Belt under the age of 70 gives a flying beep about gay marriage or abortion anymore.
or
2) Make peace with our Black and Brown brothers and sisters.

We can't keep being a party of Jesus freaks and bigots.

Thank you. I was waiting to see if someone would agree with me on this point.

Ironically I saw a thread last night where OP basically said that if Republicans would drop the religious based opinions on certain social issues, he would probably identify as a Republican. Let me see if I can find it and link it.

Well, can't find it in the labyrinth that is P&OC.
