“Three individuals . . . were in the process of robbing the business when one of the employees fired his own personal handgun at one of the robbery suspects, striking him,” the police statement said.

Grace was shot in the head and died on the floor in the early morning of Oct. 30, his mother said. Police say the gun fell from his hand and was recovered next to his body.

Now Hairston said she wants justice for her son, whose final act was one of “desperation.” She wants the Pizza Hut employee who killed him to be charged with a crime.

Her son died robbing a Pizza Hut. Now she wants the employee who shot him to be charged with a crime.

Really? Seriously? That Grace dude tried to commit an armed robbery and, got dropped.

Only a scumbag of a lawyer would take on such a bogus case, and I doubt any judge or jury would side with her, so she's wasting her time.

There are a lot of liberal judges and people out there.

A lot of them.

Because someone who just lost a son would never get upset and perhaps say something she might feel differently about in a year?

It's not going to happen but want me to condemn the actions if this person was charged? Yeah, I would but I'm going to let go what someone says after losing a kid, even for something like this.

She should be charged with a crime first. If she'd done a better job raising him maybe he wouldn't have become a thug and gotten killed committing a violent crime.

Yeah, it sucks to be stupid in a No-Stupid Zone.

A "final act of 'desperation'" is applying for a part-time minimum wage job, not sticking a gun in someone's face and demanding money.
