Based on the contentious nature of this election, I am going to theorize that both sides of the political spectrum are going to become more vocal and less politically correct.

I can see Trump supporters working to identify Hillary supporters to give them a piece of their mind, and visa-versa. Could be refusing to do business with them, offering special pricing for supporters, severing friendships, or possibly more. Would not be surprised to see some violence. Definitely expect some states to tell D.C. to take a hike and some citizens to refuse to obey laws they feel violate their constitutional rights.

That is the state of our country and people are becoming fed-up with being politically correct. This does not end with the election and is only the start.

"civil environment" being used to describe a violent state run society

youth are going to be the ones wanting change because none of them like what's going on in Washington. they don't want to pay to support old folks, obamacare or illegals now - and they certainly are not going to want to do it as the cost burdens shift more to them as demographics make them the core payer. they are learning that in a civil society everyone plays by the rules. that's not what is happening now and are slowly waking up to the issues that face them.

And some of them ( Bernie supporters? ) want tuition and debt- free university, free healthcare, a living wage and income/ wealth equality ( whatever that means) and do not want to be personally burdened with the full financial support including healthcare of their aging relatives. I guess they expected high tax rates to be imposed on high income earners and big bad corporations a possibly a wealth tax.

And around we go.

No POTUS can determine the tax code. It requires an Act of Congress. For the past 35 years or so there has been a tendency for Congress to cut tax rates while spending more. Makes no sense.

Nah, my vote is private and I won't be discussing the election with any of my social circle or business associates in the aftermath. If that means I basically confine myself to home, that's what I'll do.

I am celebrating the hell out of Christmas this year. Going to wish everyone Merry Christmas, not Happy Holidays. Will wish my Jewish friends Happy Hanukkah. If I see a mall or a store hesitating to put up Christmas lights, I will sign a petition & boycott the place. We should equally respect & celebrate each others belief system (Or lack of it) & not be cry babies about simple pleasures in life. Not giving into bullying & discrimination.

Fun fact: I am not a Christian. Just tired of political correctness.
