Donald Trump is like an old blue dog Democrat. I don't know if there is any place in politics for one party to work with the other these days, but if they actually try to work with Trump they may get more out of this than they could with any other Republican president. And Trump supporters, despite being called the racist deplorables, are probably fine with that. He is where the anti-globalist, anti-corporate vote went. And the law and order vote. And the military vote.
Actually I created a thread addressing exactly that, but I directed it at both Hillary and Donald.
As much as people want change, how many times have they been seduced by the 'new,' and ultimately realize they've been bamboozled yet again as nothing promised has been delivered. Just the way these things go.
Anyways, you have to feel a twinge of sadness seeing shots of those Hillary supporters with their faces all glum, wiping away tears, etc.
After all, that's how I felt four years ago when Romney was defeated handily by Obama.

Earlier today the globalist, the US Government, issued a public warning to Russia to not interfer in this election or face unholy wrath.
Translation: if Trump wins the election the globalist dogs of Satan will initiate a coup with the cover of blaming the Russians for hacking into and rigging the US election results. And they will initiate WWIII rapidly.
I think many on the left will realize its better to not get what you want and get something rather than getting what you want and get nothing. At least SNL can have no end of comedy skits. Hillary was never done well and they'd waste countless opportunities to poke fun at her like they did Obama.
My husband is over here stressing out over Trump's lead and I'm steady smiling and laughing at all the red states. It's insane. Who the hell knew, right?

You're taking what I posted way out of context.
All I was saying that in the past, there were many instances of people wanting change and voting for or doing what they could to bring that change. However, these people then realize after a while that little to nothing changes and they were fooled by all the fancy rhetoric.
That's why I always am jaded when people say they voted for someone because they wanted change, because that doesn't always happen.
Anyways, I've always believed in having an open mind, and whether it was Hillary or Trump, I'm willing to give either a clean slate to see how they do in making America great again.
So what happens when Trump doesn't build the wall, won't bring all those factory jobs back, and won't deport even half of the illegals here? If he wins, mark my words none of what he says he'll do. His biggest accomplishment will be that he gave all the white supremacists in the US a platform to speak since the Civil Rights Act was passed
